Louise
Nursery Manager
Hello, my name is Louise, and I’m the Manager here at The Little Lotus Nursery. I’ve been part of the Little Lotus family since 2021 and bring over 15 years of experience in the childcare sector. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep passion for supporting children’s development and ensuring they get the best possible start in life.
I believe the Early Years are a vital time in a child’s development, laying the foundations for future learning, behaviour, and well-being. Since beginning my journey in Early Years education in 2008, I’ve worked across a variety of roles, all of which have shaped my approach and commitment to high-quality care and learning experiences.
As Nursery Manager, I oversee our incredible team, supporting their ongoing professional development and ensuring we remain up-to-date with current knowledge, practice, and legislation. I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services, as well as a Level 4 NVQ in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. I also have a CACHE Level 3 Award in Special Educational Needs Coordination for Early Years settings, and I have extensive experience supporting children with additional needs.
On a personal note, I’m a proud mum to a wonderful little boy who inspires me every day. Becoming a parent has given me even deeper insight into a child’s early development and positively shaped the way I lead and support families within the nursery.
I’m especially passionate about forming strong, trusting relationships with children and watching them grow from curious babies into confident young learners, ready for their next step into school. I value working closely with families and professionals to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Gabriella
Deputy Manager
Hi, my name is Gabriella, and I’m the Deputy Manager here at The Little Lotus Nursery. I’ve been working in childcare since 2009 and completed my CACHE Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce through an apprenticeship in 2011.
I joined The Little Lotus Nursery in 2023 and feel proud to be part of such a passionate and nurturing team. As Deputy Manager, I’m dedicated to creating a safe, welcoming environment where children can explore, grow, and thrive. I love supporting both the children and our amazing staff, and I’m committed to ensuring each day is a positive, enriching experience for everyone in our care.
Watching the children develop and seeing their confidence blossom is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. Being part of their early journey is truly a privilege.
Katie
Early Years Practitioner
Hi, I’m Katie. I’ve been working in childcare since 2019 and hold a Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education. I’m passionate about supporting children’s development and love creating a warm, nurturing environment where little ones can learn, grow, and feel safe.
As a mum to my own son—who also attends The Little Lotus Nursery in the Under Twos room—I truly understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and reassured about their child’s care. That personal experience has deepened my empathy and strengthened my approach to early years practice.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of the Little Lotus team and feel privileged to support each child as they flourish on their learning journey.
Billie-Jo
Room Team Leader
Hi my name is Billie-Jo. I’m the under 2’s room team leader here at The Little Lotus Nursery and I’ve been working in childcare since 2014, holding a Level 3 Cache in early years and young people.
I have great experience from working in Nurserys up and down the country, I have previously been in the role of a sole charge ofsted registered nanny and I also offer respite care to familes whose children have additional needs.
I have a passion for ensuring each and every child, no matter what, has a safe and fun place to come to learn and thrive.
I have a love for animals and nature and I love to explore that with the children and getting them involved. Going for walks to local parks, feeding the ducks and even brining some of my small fury animals into nursery for the children to pet and learn about!
I have 12 fury animals at home and 19 aquatic animals and I hope to rescue many more!
I look forward to being part of the children’s journey as they grow here at The Little Lotus Nursery.
Demi-Lee
Early Years Practitioner
Hi, I’m Demi-Lee. I’m a qualified Level 2 Nursery Practitioner and am currently working towards my Level 3 qualification. I have experience supporting children with additional needs and take great pride in providing inclusive, tailored care that helps every child reach their full potential.
I’ve been part of the Little Lotus team since 2020, beginning with a volunteer placement alongside my school studies. From there, I progressed into an apprenticeship in childcare and have continued to grow both personally and professionally within the nursery.
I have a real passion for nurturing young minds and creating a safe, stimulating environment where children feel supported and encouraged to explore. With a hands-on approach to learning through play, and a strong understanding of child development, I’m committed to helping children thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
Building strong, trusting relationships with both children and families is something I truly value. I believe every child is unique and deserves to feel heard, valued, and confident in their learning journey. Watching them grow in confidence, reach new milestones, and discover the world around them is what makes this role so rewarding.
I feel incredibly proud to be part of a nursery that puts children’s well-being and development at the heart of everything we do.
Hayley
Early Years Practitioner
Hi, my name is Hayley. I hold both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Childcare and have been working in the early years sector since 2021. I believe every child is special and unique, and I’m passionate about supporting each one to grow, learn, and flourish at their own pace.
I joined The Little Lotus team in 2025 and have really enjoyed building strong bonds with the children and getting to know the wonderful staff team. No two days are ever the same, and I love watching how the children explore, play, and engage with the wide range of activities we offer.
Outside of nursery, I’m a mum to a young daughter and cherish our weekends together—especially spending time outdoors and going for countryside walks with our sprocker spaniel.
