Community is everything at The Little Lotus and our Family of staff work together to create a positive, enriching and supportive environment for all.
Our staff are highly qualified and in training to ensure that we support your children’s needs, learning and development effectively. On-going CPD is carried out within nursery to enhance staff knowledge and understanding which helps improve the children’s developmental experience whilst at nursery.

I am a mother of 2 beautiful children, whilst at home I strive implement and reflect nursery life in my home environment to support their individual development.
I believe children’s early learning journeys are their best start in life.
I promote learning through play, investigation, adventures and creations.
During all aspects of play we adhere to and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage learning goals.
All children should have the opportunity to voice their opinions and feelings whilst understanding the world.
The world is an enormous place for our little people…..

Hello, my name is Ekamjot but everyone calls me Joti.
I recently got married in India and have worked in childcare for 3 years, previously working in a school as a Teaching Assistant. I joined The Little Lotus Family from the start in February 2018 and I am working towards my Level 3 Diploma in Early years, which I have nearly completed.
I also have experience of working with children in the Gurdwara, where I taught them to read in Punjabi!
For me it is important to help children as they our next generation and I have seen the impact the Education sector has had. It builds the secure foundation for them (starting in Early Years) for their future.
As I am Sikh I also believe in promoting the health and well-being of children and The Little Lotus fits perfectly with this. We carry out Yoga, provide organic snacks and have regular trips in the community.
This allows us to gain and understanding of others. This is why I love working at The Little Lotus.
