We are a non-profit nursery based within a beautiful Nature Park within Benwell. The Little Lotus Nursery opened its doors in February 2018 and offers places from birth – 5 years old. Our opening hours are from 8.00am – 4.00pm.

We spend 90% of our Nursery time outdoors as we strongly believe children learn and develop better in the outdoor environment. We incorporate yoga and meditation into our daily practice as well as having a beautiful natural environment with arts, crafts and music to give children the best start in life.

What makes us special?

Here at The Little Lotus Nursery our aim is to become an ever-growing Family. We strive to ensure children see each other as equal and accept one another into The Little Lotus community.

The setting has been created to provide a natural, nourishing, stimulating, safe, caring and kind environment for children from different cultures, backgrounds, religions and beliefs. We take part in all celebrations and encourage our families to allow children to join in this also.

Alongside this we aim to support and achieve a fully vegetarian setting.
